Configure Exchange/Activesync Mail for Outlook on Android

Configure Exchange/Activesync Mail for Outlook on Android

Launch the Outlook app on your Android phone.

You will be present with different screens which depending on whether you already have an existing account setup in Outlook for Android.

Outlook for Android may present you with option to select which type of email account to add: Office 365, Outlook, Exchange, IMAP, etc.

Choose Exchange

Our tech team noticed that once an email account is setup, Outlook for Android seems to default to that account type with all other new accounts and doesn’t appear to offer the user an option to choose a different email account type. We did spot a Manual Setup option once but it disappeared after about a second and hasn’t come back since 🙁

Hopefully Microsoft resolves this one soon!
